Fun Photos
What a fun lesson. I tried Wordle - very cool. I can see using that for flyers in the future. Also, tried picnik - awesome. I needed to crop and edit some photos on my facebook page and picnik is a breeze to use. I feel very creative now :)

Online Productivity
Very good stuff here. The video clip as usual was excellent and I took the feature tour of google docs, too. I think it will be very useful when members come in trying to open a doc that is saved in a different format/version. This is an ongoing problem and until now, I wasn't sure what to do other than send them off to save it differently. Thanks Web 2.0 committee!

Social Networking
I admit I am addicted to facebook. I've been using FB personally for a few months. It was very eye opening and helpful to read the security articles! I went back and made some changes to my account. Still pondering applications for professional purposes... I am glad I will be able to assist members with questions/concerns.

Gaming
Tried Secondlife and it wouldn't let me install at work. Will try at home. Already a big fan of the benefits of videogaming programs with teens. But the articles are great for sharing with parents or concerned library members. Thanks

Wikis
Really like the book lovers wiki. I will use that. Just signed up for access to our CHPLearning "sandbox". Don't think I'll set up my own wiki for now. But this is all good info to know.

Photosharing - Flickr

I just got done telling my office mates that I wasn't going to join Flickr and guess what? I couldn't resist. It is so cool. I found this image from a park I visited in Key Largo, FL a few years ago. The weather was too bad for me to snorkel that day but the images I found on Flickr make me want to try again!
Podcasting
Just catching up here. I enjoyed the podcasting video and I think it could be useful personally and professionally. I plan to subscribe to NPR book and movie reviews. Also, podcasting would be a great tool for us to use - to capture programming and put it on the homepage etc. The possibilites are endless.
